Another Early Morning Workout

When my alarm went off this morning all I wanted to do was continue sleeping.  But, its workout day and I knew I had to get up and just go.  So I did!  I did workout 10.1 today.  I had to do (5) 6 minute intervals.  I was struggling during interval 4 and didn’t know if I was even going to do #5, but I just kept telling myself it’s only one more interval.  You are almost done.  You can’t wimp out now.  Somehow I pushed through and completed it.  It was my first time doing 6 minutes and I have to admit it was a long 6 minutes.   I know the time is just going to get longer and longer, but I’m not sure I’m up for it yet.  I still have so much extra weight to carry around and my poor legs get so tired. My lower back also starts hurting towards the end of my workout.  I’m not giving up, but I just might take longer than the 14 weeks to complete this program.  I’m already in week 10 and I know that in week 14 we are to run 17 minutes.  WOW…17 minutes.  That seems like an eternity to me right now.  I’ll just keep pushing along and see what happens.
In other news, my book for the CDCC challenge arrived yesterday.  I will start reading it tonight.  I did good with my water and food yesterday as well.
Only two more days to enter the Calphalon giveaway at All the Weigh.

  3. You're doing wonderful! That mental push can be SO hard, but when you get past it- wow! If you feel like you're kind of at your max for the moment, I don't think there's anything wrong with listening to yourself and repeating this week. The goal is to feel healthy and good about yourself, more than sticking to the time frame right? :)
